Corban Consulting Partners (CCP)

Corban Consulting Partners is an innovative program that partners Corban business students with real businesses. During your senior year, you will participate in this capstone course for all business majors. Over the course of a semester, you will work in a small team of students to solve a real-world project for a local company or non-profit.

While serving as a consultant to your organization, you will solve actual business problems and deliver tangible results with a comprehensive business plan for your company client or non-profit. You and your team will also present your final business plan to more than 200 students, guests, and company clients. The presentations are also streamed to friends and family around the globe and are judged by business professionals in the community.

This project lets you use creativity, innovation, and best business practices to find solutions that grow the bottom line and help real companies reach their full potential.

ImpressibleYou™

All business students participate in ImpressibleYou™, a career preparation program started by Professor Kelli Gassman to help students “prepare for the real world in a very tangible way.”

You will create and perfect your resume, write cover letters, develop your LinkedIn profile, and build interview techniques. Corban’s annual mock interview event gives you the chance to go through an interview and receive feedback from local executives. This process helps you build professional experience and confidence so you are ready to land that first big job after college.

Global Opportunities

Corban faculty have also developed international relationships that give you one-of-a-kind opportunities to experience business from a global perspective. Travel to Indonesia, Bali, Singapore, or South Korea on a faculty-led study tour to explore international business practices. Study abroad programs and other global partnerships also help prepare you for today’s cross-cultural business world.

Internships

Internships are a vital part of the learning process, giving you an inside look at the business world and an opportunity to put your knowledge into practice. Your internship experiences will enhance your resume and give you an advantage in the job market. They will also help build confidence and connections that will serve you well into your career.
