What is Corban’s FAFSA code?

The Corban Grant is a form of institutional aid designed to make a Christ-centered education at Corban University more accessible and affordable for students and families. This grant helps bridge the financial gap between a student’s resources and the cost of attendance, ensuring that finances are not a barrier to pursuing God’s calling.
Award decisions take into account a variety of factors, including financial need, FAFSA information, and enrollment opportunities, allowing us to support students holistically.
This grant is applied directly toward tuition and follows institutional guidelines for renewal and eligibility. It reflects Corban’s ongoing commitment to equipping students to make a difference in the world for Jesus Christ.
There are several great resources to help you find additional scholarship opportunities.

Unique circumstances may be reviewed by our office on a case–by–case basis. Please contact the Financial Aid office to discuss your situation or complete a Special Circumstance Form.
How do I accept my federal loans?
To accept all or some of the Subsidized or Unsubsidized Direct Student Loans offered on your award letter, go to aid.corban.edu.
Freshman and first time Corban students need to click the “First Time User” link. Returning Corban students need to click “Forgot Your Password?” The system “forgets” everyone’s password after 6 months. So, unless you have logged in within the last 6 months, use forgot password to create a new password.
Sometimes switching browsers or clearing cookies also helps issue with logging in.
Once you are logged in, click on the “Menu” at the top left and select “Accept Awards.” This page displays all your financial aid. All grant aid is already accepted. If you plan to accept all click “Accept All” at the bottom left and then “Submit.” You can also accept some awards or adjust the total of an award (for example, the amount of the subsidized and unsubsidized loans can be reduced). Then click “Submit.” Make sure the page saves properly and everything looks good. If you need to change anything after submitting be sure to reach out to Financial Aid. Once accepted, these loans will become anticipated aid in Populi by the end of the week.
If you accept the subsidized and/or unsubsidized loans, you will need to complete an MPN (Master Promissory Note) and Entrance Counseling to receive Federal loans.
Funds from all loans you accept will be sent to Corban and applied to your account balance. After your student account is paid in full, any excess funds will be distributed to you about three weeks after the start of school. Please let us know if you want to reduce or take out a loan in the summer or fall. Loans that have been issued can be returned if we are notified in the first week or two.
The loan origination fee is a processing fee charged by the Department of Education for each federal student loan you receive. It is a percentage of the total loan amount you are borrowing. The loan fee is deducted proportionately from each disbursement of your loan. It’s important to keep these fees in mind when calculating your balance, as the funds are deducted prior to disbursement by the Department of Education.
You will need to send in your COE (Certificate of Eligibility) to our SCO at veterans@corban.edu and an application to use benefits.
Verification is a federal requirement to receive federal aid. It is a check to make sure the FAFSA is accurate. We will need the documents and forms that are requested. Be aware there have been changes to the requirement for Verification of Identity and Purpose.
Both loans have a small loan fee and no payments while in school, however the unsubsidized loan has interest accruing while in school and the subsidized does not.
You can explore private loan options, or your parents may wish to apply for a Parent PLUS loan that they would take out on your behalf.
A Parent PLUS loan is in the parent borrower’s name and cannot be moved to the student or anyone else.
