Ministry: KAIROS Accelerated B.S. + M.Div.
The KAIROS program is a unique blended degree program where you can earn a bachelor’s (four-year) degree and a Master of Divinity (three-year) degree all in five years. How is this possible? We make every class count toward your degree completion and remove overlap between courses for a streamlined educational experience to save time and money.
Do you already know you want to end up in full-time ministry? Want to get the most training as possible in the shortest amount of time with the least amount of debt? The KAIROS program is for you! This immersive ministry training program gets you ready for your ministry future.
The KAIROS program at Corban University forms ministry leaders through deep biblical and theological study, real-world ministry experience, personal mentoring, and a community rooted in spiritual depth. You’ll have monthly one-on-one meetings with the department chair and weekly small groups with other students in ministry, benefit from a peer cohort approach to course scheduling, participate in frequent community dinners and events, and get on-the-job training in local ministry.
From your first semester, you’ll serve, grow, and walk closely with faculty and peers who challenge and support you as you pursue God’s call into full-time ministry. With a 3+2 M.Div. path, room to explore minors, and a strong emphasis on spiritual formation, KAIROS doesn’t just prepare you to lead—it shapes you for a lifetime of faithful ministry.

What to Expect in the KAIROS Program
Real Ministry Experience
From your first semester, you’ll be actively involved in hands-on ministry. Whether serving in a local church, parachurch organization, or nonprofit, you’ll engage in meaningful work that aligns with your interests and calling and give you a realistic understanding of vocational ministry—including experiences like hospital visits, committee meetings, and church leadership responsibilities.
Mentorship
KAIROS students graduate younger than the average M.Div. recipient—often by a decade—so intentional mentoring is built into the program to support deep spiritual growth and readiness for ministry. Through monthly one-on-one faculty mentoring, you’ll process your experiences, receive personal guidance, and build close relationships with professors who are also pastors, missionaries, and ministry leaders.
Ministerial Training
Your coursework in the KAIROS program is designed to prepare you for the real-life demands of pastoral ministry, including preaching, pastoral counseling, and church administration. As you refine your ability to communicate God’s Word clearly and faithfully, you’ll graduate equipped with the theological depth, practical skills, and pastoral heart needed to step into full-time ministry.
Cross-Cultural Internship
Travel with Corban faculty to serve together in at least one overseas internship experience. Whether you’re meeting with underground house churches in Türkiye, sharing the gospel with Burmese refugees in Thailand, or teaching and serving in Uganda with Corban’s pastor training program, you’ll be immersed in real ministry with real mentors.
Ministry With
Corban faculty don’t just teach you about ministry—they do ministry with you! In addition to going on a two-week overseas mission trip with your professors, you will also join a local mission trip and local service projects alongside faculty.
Lower Cost
In this uniquely blended program, you’ll pay traditional undergraduate tuition for only three years and reduced graduate credit prices the final two years of the program, saving you significant money while delivering an exceptional education.
Community Groups
Ministry isn’t meant to be done alone—and neither is your preparation for it. In KAIROS, you’ll be part of a close-knit cohort that meets weekly for accountability, discipleship, and family dinners. Through your cohort relationships, you’ll foster deep, Christ-centered community and be challenged to live out your growing knowledge of God’s Word. You’ll also participate in annual retreats for intentional time challenging one another toward Christlikeness.
Networking & Career Opportunities
KAIROS students don’t just learn about ministry—they step into it. Through your ministry internships and opportunities like Corban’s annual Refresher Conference for ministry leaders and Corban alumni, you’ll build valuable connections with local pastors and churches, setting you up for a natural transition into full-time vocational ministry. Most KAIROS students are already working in paid ministry roles before graduation!
