The Master of Business Intelligence and Analytics (MBIA) is an accredited master’s degree program for individuals who want to take the next step in their career without putting life and work on hold. This program combines data science courses in business analytics with business courses in technology, finance, operations, and marketing to give you a balanced approach in analyzing and sharing information.

Courses are designed to help you build key competencies in analytics. You will learn to write code for data analysis and presentation, apply statistical methods for data analysis, and present data analysis to influence decision-making

The Master of Business Intelligence and Analytics emphasizes case studies, where you can practice analyzing real data and information. Through our online portal, you will benefit from classroom interactions and discussions without setting foot on campus.

The eight-week sessions allow you to focus on one class at a time and take 10 credits per semester (5 credits per class). This schedule lets you move through your MBIA at a full-time pace and finish all 30 credits in just 12 months.

During each session, you will participate in discussion groups with classmates and professors to work through practical application of the material.

Hoff School of Business faculty serve as the instructors for each course in the MBIA and hold online office hours to mentor and guide online students. You will be able to video chat during office hours as needed throughout your program.
