Film Studies
You’ve been telling stories longer than you realize. Maybe it started with a goofy homeschool video project, a camera borrowed from your parents, or hours alone inventing characters and dialogue that made you laugh—or think. Maybe you started your own YouTube channel or named your own studio before you even knew what a production company was. You might be the one behind the camera at youth group or the go-to editor for your friends’ reels.
Whether you dream of sports media, narrative films, or editing, you know this is more than a hobby—it’s a calling. You want to tell meaningful stories with truth, purpose, and excellence. What you need is a place to start—with mentors, community, and room to grow. That place is Corban’s film studies program.
Our film professors and adjuncts are seasoned media professionals with real-world experience—in film, documentary, sports, and storytelling. Along with teaching gear and technique, our professors will help you take feedback without taking it personally and cultivate your craft and character like good soil—growing your skills and heart in a Christ-centered community ready to push you toward your best work.
