“At another school, you go to class, take your exams, and leave. At Corban, the faculty and community encourage you to grow into someone you didn’t know you could be.”

Location
Corban is located in Salem, Oregon, on the west coast of the U.S., just south of the city of Portland. Seattle is to the north and Los Angeles to the south.
Movies, shopping, restaurants, and coffee shops are ten minutes away in downtown Salem. Corban is just 25 minutes from the Woodburn Premium Outlets and 50 minutes from Portland, where you can find a great dining, markets, theaters, shopping, the Oregon Zoo, and an international airport.
Our students also enjoy things like:
- hiking at Silver Creek Falls
- visiting the Oregon coast, just an hour away
- touring the Columbia River Gorge and Multnomah Falls (the second tallest waterfall in the U.S.)
- snowboarding and skiing in the mountains
Some international students even go on mission trips or study abroad for a semester in another country!
Student Life
Corban’s vibrant student life makes it easy to get involved with other international and American students. We are known for our friendly, close-knit community, and there is always something happening on campus.

International Student Chapel
International chapel is our annual celebration of our campus’ cultural engagement. International and multicultural students introduce themselves and their cultures through media, lead worship in their home languages, and share their testimonies.

World Outreach Week (WOW)
World Outreach Week on campus is another way we bring awareness of global issues to Corban. Every fall, we dedicate a full week to hearing from missionaries and mission agencies serving in different parts of the world. It’s an exciting opportunity to be inspired by godly men and women, learn how God is working around the world, and consider how God might use your unique gifts in His work, for His glory, around the world.

Cross-Cultural Resident Assistants
Cross-Cultural Resident Assistants (CCRAs) provide mentorship and support specifically to students navigating cross-cultural experiences, like our international students. CCRAs foster relationships, facilitate discussions, and create spaces for students to explore the unique ways in which different backgrounds shape faith and learning.
Take your next step in your journey to academic excellence and Christian maturity.
