Develop the skills to coach with purpose and confidence. Explore the roles, responsibilities, and strategies of effective coaching across age groups. Learn about training methods, player development, team dynamics, and the psychological and physical factors that impact sport participation. Apply your learning through an analysis of a sport of your choice—from practice planning to game-day leadership.
Examine the mental side of performance. Learn how motivation, leadership, teamwork, and psychological training influence exercise and sport success. Apply these principles to real-life performance and personal growth.
Understand how movement is learned, developed, and refined across the lifespan. Explore the physiological and psychological processes behind motor skill acquisition and performance. Through hands-on activities, you’ll assess, teach, and enhance functional movement skills—building the tools to support learners and clients at all skill and development levels.
Examine the structure and function of the human body in this foundational course. Learn about cells, tissues, and key systems—skeletal, muscular, and nervous—through both lecture and lab, preparing you for future studies in healthcare and life sciences.
