If you’re entrepreneurial, people-focused, and ready to lead with purpose, the leadership and management concentration gives you the flexibility to explore your strengths while learning the language of business. Every business leader needs to understand how to read a spreadsheet, deliver a compelling sales pitch, balance a budget, and analyze data. Build a strong foundation of these essential business skills and then dive into focused courses on leadership theory, operations, and strategic management.

As a senior business major, you’ll participate in Corban Consulting Partners—an innovative capstone experience where you serve as a consultant to a real-world organization.

Working in a small team, you’ll take on a strategic challenge faced by a local business or nonprofit, applying your leadership, analysis, and problem-solving skills to create a comprehensive business plan with actionable recommendations.

At the end of the semester, you’ll present your work to an audience of more than 200 peers, professionals, and organizational leaders. It’s not just a class project—it’s your opportunity to lead with insight, collaborate with purpose, and make a tangible difference in your community.
