Check Payments

We accept personal checks, cashier checks and money orders for tuition and fee payments that are given in person at the Student Accounts Office on campus or mailed to Corban University c/o Student Accounts, 5000 Deer Park Dr. SE, Salem, OR 97317. Make checks payable to Corban University. Please list the account name and student ID# in the memo line of your check.

Electronic Check Payments (E-Checks)

When you choose to pay via electronic check through your secure student portal, you will provide your bank ABA routing number in addition to your bank account number. There is no fee for payments of this type.

Refund Policy

If your financial aid exceeds your cost of tuition, fees, and books, you may be eligible to receive excess funds. When funds post to your account, Student Accounts will audit your account and automatically refund excess funds within 14 days of the funds being posted. Refunds are processed via check and will be available to be picked up in the Student Accounts office or will be mailed to the address on record. Please allow the full 14 days for processing before calling to check the status of your refund.

Outstanding Student Account Balance

Failure to meet arranged payment plan terms may result in plan termination. Delinquent monthly accounts and any deferred payment arrangements incur service charges. Continuous nonpayment may result in an administrative withdrawal from enrollment and may prohibit the student from registering in subsequent semesters and obtaining official and unofficial transcripts until such obligations are satisfied. Diplomas and transcripts are not released to any student until their student account balance is zero. In addition to withholding transcripts, records, or diplomas until all university expenses are satisfied, Corban reserves the right to preclude students with past due balances from representing the university in public activities or events. Students experiencing legitimate extenuating circumstances relating to their financial situation are encouraged to meet with Student Accounts personnel for financial counseling.

Student Responsibilities

When you register for a class, you agree to pay for it, and you will be responsible for all charges and any grade you receive, whether or not you attend. You are responsible for full payment of all charges on your account, even if another party is paying. If you are under 18 years of age, you will be held liable for any charges on your account under ORS 348.105.

By registering for classes at Corban University you agree that tuition, fees and other applicable charges incurred will be considered an educational agreed upon debt between you and Corban University that is non-dischargeable under Section 523(a), (8) of the U.S. Bankruptcy Code. You are further agreeing that if you fail to make any payments as prescribed, your account may be submitted to a collection agency and applicable collections charges may be added to your account balance due. In case legal action is instituted to collect on your account, you are agreeing to pay, in addition to the costs and disbursements provided by law, such additional sums as court of law may determine as reasonable for attorney’s fees and court cost. Oregon State law applies to any dispute over payment.
