Aagard Hall
Located at the base of campus along Deer Park Drive, this mid-century style brick hall offers residential housing to Corban undergraduate students. The building is named for two of Corban’s early employees, Carrol and Fern Aagard, who made a difference as missionaries to the Philippines. Aagard provides two-person rooms and suite-style quads across both floors, each with their own private bathroom.
Outdoor Athletic Complex
The Outdoor Athletic Complex, built in 2021, includes a state-of-the-art track and field complex and competition turf field for soccer. The complex is available to host high school competitions, club practices, regional and state tournaments, youth camps, and community events, as well as being home to Corban’s men’s and women’s track and field and soccer programs.
Psalm Performing Arts Center
The Psalm Performing Arts Center, also known as the Psalm Center, was built in 2006 as a space dedicated to the arts and as a venue for chapel, along with conferences and other larger events. Most concerts, plays, and campus-wide events are held in the Psalm Center.
Clock Tower
At the center of lower campus, the clock tower stands as a beacon, not only reminding the community of the time but also playing hymns as it chimes throughout the day! Built in 2008, the clock tower is supported on a brick foundation with the names of donors engraved in recognition of their support of Corban.
Athletic Activities Office
As the hub of Warrior Athletics, the Athletics House provides offices for Corban’s coaching staff and close proximity to the Outdoor Athletics Complex. You’ll find it at the corner of Warrior Drive and Deer Park Drive.
Farrar Hall
Standing strong as one of the oldest residence halls on campus, Farrar is a three-story red brick, men-only dorm known for its comradery and sense of brotherhood. It also houses space for Corban’s Campus Safety offices.
Music House B
This historic 1938 home holds the Corban Counseling Center, offering free counseling to Corban undergraduate students and staffed primarily by Corban’s graduate counseling students. The lower level of this building also offers music practice spaces for student musicians.
President’s House
In this historic home, located between Music House A and Music House B on Western Way, the President and his family live here on campus.
Music House A
Music House A provides office space for the Center of Nontraditional Learning, Corban’s online degree programs. It is located off of Western Way, between the Younger Center and the President’s House.
Younger Center
Born out of a vision to have a welcoming facility at the campus entrance, the Tom and Davina Younger Legacy Center opened in 2017 as a lasting tribute to Corban’s sixth president, Dr. Tom Younger and his wife, Davina. The Younger Center is often visitors’ first stop on campus, housing the Welcome Center, Office of Admissions, Alumni Office, and a board room for the Board of Trustees.
The Klatch
This small, covered amphitheater with a fireplace and multiple levels of sitting creates the perfect outdoor spot for classes, study groups, or s’mores! Built in 2016 as a space for students to gather, The Klatch got its name from the German word klatch, meaning a place for gathering, especially for conversation and coffee.
Inspiration Garden Walk
Take a stroll, enjoy the wonderous beauty of God, and take in a fresh breath of air. With different trails around the campus, you’ll never get bored with exploring new areas!
Schimmel Hall
Schimmel Hall serves as Corban’s main administration building with space for the President’s Office, Registrar, Student Life, Financial Aid, Student Accounts, Human Resources, Advancement, Student Support, and more. You’ll also find Corban’s largest classroom, the Emitte Center, and a student study space on the second floor, and the Travis Memorial Dining Hall on the lower level.
Academic Center
The five stories of this “H”-shaped building offer a central hub for students and faculty. The front half of the building houses Corban’s library on floors 2 and 3 and the main student computer lab, also on the third floor. Under the library, you’ll find IT, the mailroom, and Warrior Wares, for all your Corban gear. The back half of the Academic Center holds faculty offices on floors 3, 4, and 5, as well as our science labs and classroom spaces.
David F. Miller Pavilion
Located just above the Psalm Center, the Pavilion holds three classrooms on each wing with the Common Grounds coffee shop, study space, and Corban’s commuter lounge in the two-story area in the center. The David F. Miller Pavilion is named in honor of Corban’s eighth president and a beloved former professor of theology.
Psalm Center Annex
The Psalm Annex provides practice and classroom space for Corban’s music ensembles.
Art Barn
Corban’s makerspace, the Art Barn, offers a creative hub for all types of artistic pursuits. It also houses the media arts photography and film studio, including backdrops and new lighting equipment.
Softball Field
The Softball Field can be found out behind the Outdoor Athletic Complex and is the place for home games here at Corban University.
Townhouses
The townhouses provide an opportunity for students to live more independently, while enjoying close proximity to campus and the Corban community. Located on the corner of Deer Park Drive and Aumsville Highway, the townhouses offer housing for graduate students, married students, and undergraduate students who qualify to live off campus.
Prewitt/Van Gilder Hall
Fondly nicknamed “PVG,” this residence hall is known for its massive common area that connects the two sides of the building. PVG is always bustling with activity, fun, and community. Built in 1995, PVG can be found next to Balyo and right above Music House B.
C.E. Jeffers Sports Center
The C.E. Jeffers Sports Center, located at the top of Warrior Drive, contains a basketball court and training center, a classroom, a weight room, athletic staff offices, and locker rooms. This multipurpose building provides space for intercollegiate sports, intramural sports, and physical education classes. It is also used for some special events. The building presently seats 1,500.
Beach Volleyball Courts
The beach volleyball courts were added in 2019 as the first beach volleyball competition courts on a college campus in Oregon. They serve Corban’s beach volleyball team as well as being available for tournaments and other competitions.
Balyo Hall
Balyo Hall, the newest residence hall on campus being built in 2006, is named after President Emeritus John G. Balyo. With 110 male and female students on three gender-specific floors, Balyo has large community spaces on each floor. With vaulted ceilings, a stone fireplace, and lodge-style architecture, Balyo Hall is the perfect residential hall for those looking for a thriving community and a space to build friendships.
Davidson Hall
Built in 2005, this Northwest cabin-style hall is named after its generous benefactors, Alton and Joan Davidson. While housing nearly 75 male and female students on two gender-specific floors, Davidson features wide open community spaces, a movie corner, and a beautiful view of campus. Its cabin-like charm shines through exposed beams and a cozy stone fireplace, giving the feeling of home.
Prayer Chapel
The Prayer Chapel is a small building with scripture and prayer cards made available to all student as a place to go and to be comfortable to pray and be alone with God.
Amphitheater
The Amphitheater is a large outdoor area utilized by students for laying out a picnic blanket, hammocking or throwing the football or frisbee. Found between Davidson Hall and the Academic Center, the Amphitheater is a beautiful open area for all kinds of activities.
Caulkins Hall
At the top of Warrior Drive, sharing a parking lot with the C.E. Jeffers Sports Center, Caulkins Hall contains two large classrooms and two smaller classroom spaces.
