About Maryann
Being a Corban education student (’97) propelled Maryann and her husband, Brian, to serve the Lord overseas soon after graduation. They worked in international schools for eighteen years in Kenya, Saudi Arabia, and South Korea. Maryann taught middle school for many years and then moved into a school counseling role for about a decade after getting her master’s. They raised their four kids along the way: Corban (who was actually named first!) along with Anya, Ella, and Caleb.
God brought the unexpected blessing of coming back to Corban in 2022, both on the Advancement team and as a parent. Fun fact: 2026 is the year that Anya graduates from Corban University and Caleb starts!
When Maryann isn’t out sharing the mission of Corban, she loves to spend time with her family, travel as much as possible, do triathlons, hike, write, or have a conversation over a hot cup of coffee.
