Professional

Dr. Yufeng Zhao has over 15 years of industry experience, most recently with National Renewable Energy Laboratory. Before joining Corban’s faculty, Dr. Zhao was a part-time instructor for Science Matters in America. He has also been involved in student ministry for over a decade, having offered biblical study for Chinese students and scholars at Colorado School of Mines and led a youth program at Hillcrest Christian Church in Denver. He currently teaches Physical Sciences, Physics I, and Physics II for Corban, as well as physics labs.

Personal

When he’s not teaching, Dr. Zhao enjoys outreach ministry through Salem Chinese Evangelical Church, traveling and hiking with his wife, and writing Chinese poems and essays.

Why Corban

Dr. Zhao had always dreamed of teaching at a liberal arts school. The opportunity to teach at a Christian university was beyond what he had hoped for. “Working at Corban happened to be my dream job—even better than what I expected. I feel so excited to be here.”
