About Dr. Weber
A specialist in systematic and historical theology, Dr. Weber comes to Corban University with a wealth of experience both teaching theology and developing and managing online learning systems. Prior to coming to Corban, Weber served as a Professor of Theology at Moody Bible Institute from 2002 to 2018. During this time, he also helped to develop and teach core online courses in systematic theology and church history for nine years. While at Moody, he served as Chairman of the Faculty Development Committee for six years, and as the Treasurer of the Midwest Region of the Evangelical Theological Society.
Following his time at Moody, Dr. Weber taught synchronous online classes for Veritas Scholars Academy. He has also served as an adjunct instructor for Trinity Evangelical Divinity School, teaching courses in American church history, and has 30 years of experience in worship ministry in various churches.
Rich married his wife, Kathrin, in 1993. Together, they have two children, Charis and Aren. When he is not playing the piano for worship or teaching courses at his local church, Rich can be found enjoying multiple cups of coffee, reading, researching family genealogies, and holding out hope for another Cubs World Series title in his lifetime.
