Corban University Welcomes Largest Incoming Class in Five Years
Corban University is celebrating its strongest enrollment in five years, bucking national trends of declining student numbers in higher education. While many colleges and universities across the country continue to struggle with post-pandemic decreases, Corban is experiencing steady momentum. This fall, the University welcomed its largest incoming class since 2020, continuing a pattern of steady growth, with many academic programs continuing trends of year-over-year growth.
New traditional undergraduate enrollment increased by more than 9%, highlighted by a 13% rise in first-time freshmen, making this year’s overall student population the largest the University has seen in three years.
Graduate programs and online education also reflected this upward trajectory, with Corban’s online student population reaching a five-year high and graduate enrollment marking a three-year peak.
“These numbers tell a powerful story,” said Corban University President, Dr. John Mark Yeats. “Students are recognizing the value of a Christ-centered education that equips them academically and spiritually to make a difference in the world. Corban’s mission continues to resonate in ways that are both deeply meaningful and broadly impactful.”
Students cite Corban’s supportive community, small class sizes, and opportunities for mentorship as reasons they choose the University. Whether studying on campus in Salem or pursuing flexible online degree options, students benefit from faculty who are dedicated to integrating faith and learning, preparing them for purposeful careers and lives of service.
With this steady enrollment growth, Corban is well-positioned for the future. The University continues to strengthen existing programs, explore new degree pathways, and expand both in-person and online learning opportunities. Looking ahead, Corban remains committed to its mission of educating Christians who will make a difference in the world for Jesus Christ.
