Commuter Life

Living off campus? You’ll still have plenty of opportunities to connect with other students through community gatherings, comfy lounges, and exciting events!

Commuter Areas

There are several beautiful on-campus areas designated to making commuters still feel at home in the Corban community.

Commuter Solarium

To the right of the main library entrance is a lounge available to all commuters to study, chat, or just relax. As Corban’s only commuter-exclusive area, it offers a restful and welcoming area for all commuters with a view of Corban’s nature path and the Klatch along with various other amenities that commuters may find helpful, like an events calendar, a give and take clothing and shoes rack, and more!

Student Lounge

Just below Corban’s on-campus coffee shop in the Pavilion is a recently remodeled area for students to relax, study, and find out about upcoming events around campus. A small kitchen with fridges is also available in this space for commuter use.

Amenities

  • Wi-Fi
  • Kitchenette
  • Refrigerators
  • Keurig + Free Coffee, Tea, and Cocoa
  • Lockers

Events

Corban hosts many different events across campus that commuters are welcome to attend. There are also events to build community specifically for our commuter students. These events are posted monthly in the Commuter Lounge and Solarium and sent out to each commuter student email.
