Thoughts from the Director:
The Comedy of Errors is a goofy tale of mistaken identity, misunderstandings, farcical actions, and ridiculous coincidences. The story begins with a separated family and ends in a unified community. It opens with a potentially tragic situation that through the course of the day resolves into happy harmony. The play’s plot reminds us that things are not always as they seem, that given patience and communication, we can work things out, and that “weeping may endure for a night, but joy comes in the morning.” (Psalm 30:5) But mostly, it offers reprieve and relaxation and reminder of better days ahead.
