Track Options
You’ll have three tracks to choose from in Corban’s M.S.Ed. program, so you can align your graduate studies with your professional goals.

Curriculum & Instruction (30 credits)
Designed for classroom teachers who want to grow in their craft, this track focuses on practical, research-based strategies to enhance student learning. You’ll explore current issues in curriculum and instruction while choosing electives that support your teaching goals and broaden your impact in the classroom. (This track does not lead to an endorsement.)

English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL) (30 credits)
Open to Oregon-licensed educators, this track allows you to earn your ESOL endorsement as part of your M.S.Ed. or as a stand-alone credential. You’ll complete four core courses in ESOL/bilingual education and a two-credit practicum. For those pursuing a Bilingual Specialization, proof of second language proficiency is required via testing or approved prior experience.

Principal Licensure (36 credits)
For educators ready to lead, this track prepares you to become a principal or assistant principal. Approved by Oregon’s Teacher Standards and Practices Commission (TSPC), the program includes leadership-focused coursework and internship experiences that meet the requirements for Oregon Principal Licensure.
There are not a lot of other professions that rival the opportunity we have to make a difference in the lives of students. It’s such an amazing profession for giving back and making a difference in the world, which is what Corban prepares you to do. It’s my ministry every single day, and I love it.
