Courses

For your online psychology degree, you’ll need a total of 120 semester credits:

48 credits of general education courses
These include courses in Bible, communications, history, math, writing, science, humanities and other general education topics.

27 credits of general education elective courses
Elective credits give you greater flexibility in what courses will make up your degree. For example, you may want to add a minor, transfer in an art class, or focus your degree in a specific area. You can take these courses at Corban, transfer in credits, or earn credit for prior learning experiences.

45 credits of core psychology courses
These courses make up your the core of your degree, equipping you to think biblically about human nature and the complexity of human behavior with a focus on social science and ethics. Core courses include:

Program Format

  • Classes start every 8 weeks. You can begin classes in any session, and take one, two, or three classes each session, depending on what works for your schedule and goals. See the online undergraduate academic calendar.
  • Complete assignments at your pace each week. Classes are asychronous, so you can fit all your weekly coursework into your own schedule, regardless of the day or time. Study when it works for you.
  • Connect with faculty and fellow students through discussion boards and team projects.

Faculty

Courses are taught by men and women who not only hold advanced degrees, but also have practical experience in their fields. They also hold a high view of the inspiration, authority, and inerrancy of Scripture and incorporate a biblical worldview into every class.

You’ll have direct engagement with your professors through the course dashboard, video presentations, online discussion boards, email communication, and timely feedback on assignments.

Our online classrooms are kept at about 15-20 students, which is half the size of most online programs. That means you will have the opportunity to build a close mentor relationship that supports you through and beyond your degree program.
