Education Program

Corban's Education Program is "simply the best in the Northwest, with a distinctive Christian worldview," explained Dean of Education, Dr. Matt Lucas.

Program Overview
Education is Corban's largest academic program. As a student you will learn under a faculty committed to helping you achieve the skills for a successful career. The four-year undergraduate program is designed to prepare beginning teachers who are competently equipped to serve in both the public and Christian school settings. Courses give theoretical training, technical skills, and practical experience. Students who complete Corban's program meet all requirements for licensure in Oregon, as well as most other states.

 

Where we've been and where we're going...
The Education Program started in 1990 after years of being a cooperative program with Western Oregon University and others. In 2004 we added a Master's degree program, and in 2006 added ESOL and Reading Endorsements.
