Tutoring is for everyone!
Whether you feel lost in a specific course, are having a hard time managing all your assignments, need a second set of eyes on that big paper, or just want to feel more confident in a subject area, Student Support can help!
Don’t wait until you’re overwhelmed to take advantage of Corban’s FREE tutoring services.
- Understand course material better.
- Improve your grades.
- Stay on track to complete assignments.
- Boost your confidence.
Individual Tutoring
Connect with a student who has already taken the course you’re in and is ready to share their knowledge. Individual tutoring is a great opportunity to work one–on–one with someone who can bring the material to life in new ways for you, answer your specific questions, and set you on a path to success in the course.
Writing & Editing Help
Need a paper edited? Got writer’s block? Our writing tutors can help! A tutor can help you start a paper or review your paper and suggest edits to correct errors, clarify your thoughts, and help you really wow your professors.
Choose “writing” or “editing” in our tutor scheduling system to see available tutors and tutoring times.
Group Tutoring
Think of group tutoring as a guided study session. When more than one student in a particular course requests tutoring, we often offer group sessions with 2–5 students. We’ve found this to be a valuable way for students to learn not only from their tutor but from each other as they work through course material.
24/7 Online Tutoring
With Tutor.com, you have access 24 hours a day to tutors in every subject! This is a FREE service for Corban students. To access this service, log into Populi and navigate to the course you’d like help with. Go to the syllabus page and find the Tutor.com link under “Links.”

Disability Services
Students with disabilities are and have always been an important part of our student body. Although Corban does not currently offer a specialized curriculum, university staff work with students to modify campus facilities and programs to meet individual needs.
The Director of Student Support works closely with staff to ensure that students with disabilities receive the same academic opportunities as their peers.
Early planning is encouraged to allow our staff adequate time to make the necessary arrangements for support services.
If you will be requesting accommodations due to a disability, it will be necessary to provide documentation verifying your disability. The disability assessment must be current (completed within the last three years).
Disability Services Provided
- Alternative test arrangements
- Arrangements for note-taking services
- Reasonable Accommodations Letter prepared for students to provide to faculty
- Assistance with acquiring books in alternative formats
- Pre-admission and pre-enrollment planning

We also provide limited individualized services depending on the needs of students with disabilities. Students who require attendant care while on campus must provide their own attendants.

Parking spaces are available for individuals with DMV-issued handicapped plates or place cards. Temporary on-campus handicapped parking permits are available by emailing Student Support for students who experience a temporary loss of mobility.

All of the services listed on this page are available to all Corban students. In addition, international students have a dedicated support team to assist with the transition to American life and provide support during your studies at Corban.
