Oregon Opportunity Grant

The Oregon Opportunity Grant (OOG) is Oregon’s largest state-funded, need-based grant program for college students. More than 30,000 students receive Oregon Opportunity Grants each year.
Application Process
- Submit your FAFSA as soon as possible after October 1. Use Corban’s code: 001339.
Priority is given to those who have an error-free FAFSA or ORSAA submitted by March 1. Funds are limited, and awards are given on a first-come, first-served basis. The Office of Student Success and Completion (OSAC) will continue to authorize Oregon Opportunity Grand awards until the available funds are depleted.
Requirements
- Oregon resident.
- Undergraduate student with no prior baccalaureate degrees earned.
- Enrolled at least half time (6 credits per semester).
- Demonstrated financial need according to your FAFSA.
- Students enrolled in courses of study leading to degrees in theology, divinity, or religious education are not eligible.
Award Details
- For 2025-2026, the maximum award amount is $7,800 at an Oregon-based 4-year college or university (that includes Corban!).
- Award amounts are based on the Student Aid Index (SAI) as determined from the FAFSA.
- Students must be enrolled full-time, full-year (i.e., 12 credits or more per each term) to receive a maximum award. Awards are prorated for part-time or part-year enrollment.
- A portion of the award is released to a student’s account each semester.
