Corban Scholarships (choose one)
Corban University offers some of the most affordable graduate and online undergraduate programs among private colleges in the West, while remaining committed to academic excellence and biblical integration. We are also pleased to offer several scholarship opportunities specifically for graduate and online undergraduate students, making your degree even more attainable!
You may qualify for ONE (1) of the Corban scholarships below. These may be combined with outside scholarships and federal aid.
CORBAN ADVANTAGE SCHOLARSHIP | 50% tuition discount (Grad)
50% discount on graduate program tuition (cost per credit hour) for any graduate of a Corban University undergraduate program who enrolls in a Corban master’s program immediately after graduation.
Application Process
To receive this award, notify your Admissions Counselor that you are a Corban alum.
Eligibility
- Must be a graduate of a Corban University on-campus or online undergraduate program.
- Must start your Corban master’s degree program immediately after graduation from your Corban undergraduate program.
- May graduates: begin in the immediate summer (May) or fall (August) semester.
- August graduates: begin in the immediate fall (August) semester.
- December graduates: begin in the immediate spring semester (January)*
- *Exception: Since the Master of Arts in Counseling program only begins in the fall semester, alumni may qualify for the Corban Advantage Scholarship when they begin the MAC program in the first fall semester immediately following their graduation.
Award Details
- Applicable toward a graduate level or licensure program at Corban University.
- Renewable each year.
- May not be combined with an athletic scholarship.

- Available for new students beginning Summer 2024 and beyond.
NON-PROFIT / MINISTRY SCHOLARSHIP | 25% tuition discount (grad / licensure / online undergrad)
25% discount on graduate, licensure, or online undergraduate program tuition (cost per credit hour) for any part-time or full-time non-profit or vocational ministry employee. This includes employees of churches, Christian schools, parachurch ministries, and other non-profit organizations.
Application Process
To receive this award, provide proof of employment to your Admissions Counselor. This could be a note from HR, a current payroll stub, your employee listing on the company’s website, etc.
Eligibility
Must be currently employed full-time or part-time in a ministry or other non-profit organization.

VENTURE CHURCH NETWORK MEMBER SCHOLARSHIP | 20% tuition discount (grad / licensure / online undergrad)
20% discount on graduate, licensure, or online undergraduate program tuition (cost per credit hour) for any individual who attends a church that is part of the Venture Church Network.
Application Process
To receive this award, provide the name of your home church in your application for admission to Corban.
Eligibility
Must be a member or regular attendee at a Venture Church Network church.

- Renewable each year.

GARBC CHURCH MEMBER SCHOLARSHIP | 20% tuition discount (grad / licensure / online undergrad)
20% discount on graduate, licensure, or online undergraduate program tuition (cost per credit hour) for any individual who attends a church that is part of the General Association of Regular Baptist Churches (GARBC).
Application Process
To receive this award, provide the name of your home church in your application for admission to Corban.
Eligibility
Must be a member or regular attendee at a GARBC church.
Award Details
- Applicable toward a graduate, licensure, or online undergraduate program at Corban University.
- Renewable each year.
- May not be combined with an athletic scholarship.
- May be stacked with other outside scholarships and grants.
- Available for new students beginning classes in Spring 2025 and beyond.
MILITARY SCHOLARSHIP | 20% tuition discount (grad / licensure / online undergrad)
20% discount on graduate, licensure, or online undergraduate program tuition (cost per credit hour) and no standard fees for current service members of the active duty, reserves, and national guard, as well as military veterans with an honorable discharge.
Application Process
To receive this award, provide proof of your military service to your admissions counselor.
Eligibility
Must be a currently serving, retired, or honorably discharged veteran of any branch of the U.S. military.
Award Details
- Applicable toward a graduate, licensure, or online undergraduate program at Corban University.
- Covers all standard fees except one-time graduation fee upon completion of the program.
- Renewable each year.
- May not be combined with an athletic scholarship.
- May be stacked with other outside scholarships and grants.
- Available for new students beginning classes in Spring 2025 and beyond.
ALUMNI SCHOLARSHIP | 20% tuition discount (Grad)
20% discount on graduate program tuition (cost per credit hour) for Corban alumni who continue their education with a Corban master’s degree program
Application Process
To receive this award, notify your Admissions Counselor that you are a Corban alum.
Eligibility
Must be a graduate of a Corban University, Western Baptist College, or Northwest Baptist Seminary undergraduate, licensure, or other graduate program

PARENT SCHOLARSHIP | 20% tuition discount (grad / licensure / online undergrad)
20% discount on graduate, licensure, or online undergraduate program tuition (cost per credit hour) for parents and guardians of a Corban student.
Application Process
To receive this award, notify your Admissions Counselor of your student’s name.
Eligibility
Must be a parent or guardian of a current or prior student who completed at least one semester at Corban University, on campus or online, full-time or part-time.

- Available for new students beginning Fall 2024 and beyond.
MINISTRY MATCHING SCHOLARSHIP | Up to $500 per Year
Corban University’s Ministry Matching Scholarship was developed to encourage churches and Christian organizations to provide corporate scholarship support for their students involved in higher education. Corban will match up to $250 per semester, up to $500/yr, at a ratio of 1:2 for each dollar provided.
Application Process
Complete the Ministry Matching Scholarship Form no later than September 1 for fall semester and January 15 for spring semester.
Eligibility
- Must be enrolled in a Corban graduate ministry program (Master of Divinity or Master of Arts in Christian Leadership).
- Church/organization must provide up to $500 per semester in sponsorship of the graduate student.
Award Details
- Applicable toward a graduate ministry program at Corban University.
- Corban will match up to $250 per semester, up to $500/yr, at a ratio of 1:2 for each dollar provided.
- Example: If the church/organization sponsors a Corban University School of Ministry graduate student for $500, Corban will provide an additional $250 to be applied toward tuition expenses.
- Corban match portion cannot be combined with other Corban scholarships. Only the church’s contribution of the Ministry Matching Scholarship will be awarded to students who qualify for another Corban scholarship.
- Renewable with a new application and contribution from the sponsoring organization each semester.
- May be stacked with other outside scholarships and grants.
Financial Aid Opportunities
FEDERAL STUDENT AID
Online undergraduate students who are enrolled at least part-time (6 credits per semester) may qualify for federal financial aid, including the Pell Grant and both subsidized and unsubsidized student loans.
Graduate students may be eligible for federal student loans.
To find out what federal student aid options you qualify for, your first step is to fill out the FAFSA. To have your FAFSA information sent to Corban, use Corban University’s FAFSA code: 001339.
OREGON STUDENT ACCESS COMMISSION
Oregon students may qualify for state-specific scholarships and grants through the Oregon Student Access Commission.

EMPLOYER EDUCATIONAL ASSISTANCE
Check with your employer about tuition benefits for employees. Many employers have tuition assistance or tuition reimbursement plans.
PAYMENT PLAN
Talk to Corban’s Student Accounts Office about making monthly payments on your student account instead of paying your tuition in a one lump sum at the beginning of each semester.
