Commencement

Graduates gather at a commencement ceremony, dressed in traditional caps and gowns, marking a significant milestone in their lives.

Congratulations, graduates! We know that you have been working hard to reach this important milestone in your educational journey. Congratulations on arriving at the end of this chapter! It is a significant accomplishment, and we are so proud of you.

Check-in Times

Graduates should check in 45 minutes prior to the start of the ceremony. This is a tight timeline so please be on time. A brief time of instructions will be given following the check-in prior to the start of the ceremony.

  • Arrive with your cap and gown on.
  • Check in to pick up your name card and seating section assignment and be directed to the Commencement staging area.
  • Eat before you come. No food will be available at Commencement.
  • Leave personal items with a family member. There is no storage for personal belongings at the event.

Parking

Due to parking limitations, please plan to carpool to campus if possible!

Guests may park in lots N, J (three lots), O, K, P, Q, D, F, B, and A. Students may park in lots T, U, and P. Shuttles will be available from various locations around campus to take guests to the gym.

  • Shuttle #1 will depart from lot D next to the clock tower.
  • Shuttle #2 will depart from lot N.
  • Shuttle #3 will depart from lot O.
  • Shuttle #4 will depart from lot P.

Tickets

Each graduate will be given tickets at Grad Finale. Graduates will receive six tickets to invite guests to the event. Tickets are not required for children under 2 years of age.

Special Accommodations Seating

Guests who need special accommodations during the ceremony for a disability or mobility challenges please reserve your seating here. Please make your reservation no later than April 1st. Virtual Viewing / Livestream

Commencement will be livestreamed for friends and family who wish to watch the ceremony but are unable to attend. The link will be posted here prior to graduation day.

While tickets to the Commencement ceremony in the C.E. Jeffers Sports Center are limited to six per graduate, additional first-come first-served seating will be available in the Psalm Center on Corban’s campus for livestream viewing.

Getting Your Cap & Gown

Your cap, gown, and diploma cover are available at Grad Finale on Thursday, February 19, 2026 from 2:00-6:00 p.m. in the Emitte Center (SC212). Caps, gowns, and cords will NOT be available for pick-up on the day of Commencement.

Diplomas

You will not receive your diploma at graduation. Diplomas will be mailed to graduates 6-8 weeks after Commencement if all degree requirements have been fulfilled and there is no outstanding financial obligation to the University. August and December grads should have already received diplomas in the mail.

Photographs

GradImages is the official photographer for our Commencement and will take individual photos of each graduate during the Commmencement ceremony. Please use this service for photographs and remain seated during the ceremony. Your proofs will be ready to view online as soon as 48 hours after the ceremony. Pictures can be ordered online, by phone, or by mail.

If you’d like to be notified when your images are available, you can pre-register with GradImages. Pre-registering is simply a way to make sure your contact information is up-to-date with GradImages, so they can provide your complimentary proofs as quickly as possible.

To pre-register for your commencement proofs, please visit GradImages.com/Preregistration and click on the pre-event registration link. Type in: “Corban University” for event and fill in the blanks. By pre-registering, you can receive a coupon code for 20% off.
