Christian Educator Conference

Corban University’s School of Education is excited to welcome educators to our annual Christian Educator Conference, a one-day event designed to encourage, empower, and equip!
On this statewide in-service day, we’ll spend the day learning together in keynote and breakout sessions, connecting with other teachers, and encouraging each other as educators and Christians.
Cost: $10 per person – includes lunch

What to Expect
The Corban Christian Educator Conference will be a time of connection, collaboration, and learning about the craft of teaching. Participants will have a variety of opportunities throughout the day, including times of networking, discussion, learning, sharing, and worship.
Keynote Speaker: Tina deVries
Tina deVries is a career Christian school educator and currently serves as Associate Superintendent at Cascade Christian Schools in Puyallup, Washington. Over the course of her career, she has served as an elementary and junior high teacher and as a principal at the elementary, middle, and high school levels.
Tina is passionate about mentoring and leadership development, organizational culture, and helping Christian schools thrive. She believes deeply in the power of people working together and often says, “We are better together.” She loves people, values meaningful relationships, and is committed to creating cultures where students and staff are known, valued, and equipped to flourish.
Tina has been married to her husband for 35 years and has had the privilege of serving alongside him in ministry as an executive pastor. She is an avid reader, enjoying books for spiritual and professional growth as well as simply for the pleasure of reading.
When she is not working, Tina enjoys serving in her church, spending time with her children and nine grandchildren, cooking, and nurturing the community and relationships around her.
