Farrar Hall

Picture of Farrar Hall

Farrar stands as the only gender-specific residential hall on campus, housing only male students. This has led to a tightly knit community and a strong sense of brotherhood and camaraderie among the men of Farrar.

This traditional brick hall is named for Rev. Herbert Farrar, Jr., the first acting president of Corban when it was incorporated as Western Baptist Bible College. Currently, only the second floor is available on an as-needed basis for student housing.

Events

Pumpkin Smash

Historically, Farrar has hosted Corban’s fan favorite Pumpkin Smash tradition each fall—one of the long-running dorm events on campus. After throwing pumpkins from the windows of Farrar and smashing them on a tarp, the Farrar men wrestle in the pumpkin guts to be the last man standing and claim the title of Smash King!
