Local scholarships are a great option for paying for college. These types of scholarships are based on special hobbies, interests, life circumstances, or affiliations. The fewer people who qualify for a given scholarship, the better your chances! Here are some potential sources to investigate:

Need-based scholarship for students with a 3.5 or higher GPA who plan to attend any college in Oregon.

For Oregon high school seniors facing financial barriers to college education.
Deadline: May 2
The LKS Foundation offers graduating high school seniors, living in the State of Oregon, scholarships to continue their education at a state or private school.
Deadline: January of the Application Year
For Oregon tribal students attending eligible Oregon colleges and universities. Current, new, and continuing students are encouraged to apply for this grant for the upcoming academic year.

For eligible Oregon resident students who are culturally or linguistically diverse that are enrolled and pursuing their preliminary licensure for teaching, school counseling, school social work, and school psychology.

The Mary Elizabeth Lockwood Beneventi MBA Scholarship is open to students attending graduate school full time with a minimum GPA of 3.25.

Our goal is to add scholarship funds to your financial aid package within a week of receiving the check, but it may take longer during high-volume periods.
Corban’s policy is to divide the scholarship equally between fall and spring semesters, unless the scholarship specifies otherwise.
Corban will process your scholarship and adjust your financial aid package even if the scholarship is received after school starts.
