Professional
Dr. Tim Anderson has taught theology and biblical studies at Corban University in Salem, Oregon for thirty-four years. His specific emphases are in systematic and biblical theology, apologetics, and bioethics. He currently is writing on theology and mental illness. He earned his Ph.D. in systematic theology from Trinity Evangelical Divinity School in 2002.
Dr. Anderson loves mentoring students. He also works with the Corban School of Ministry’s ongoing pastoral training ministry in Africa and helps lead study tours to Israel. He has served in his local church and region preaching, teaching, worship-leading, and counseling. He is the author of Into His Presence: A Theology of Intimacy with God (Kregel, 2019).

Personal
Tim and his wonderful wife, Barbara, have four amazing children: David, Jonathan, Emily, and Stephen. Their three oldest have all graduated from Corban, and their youngest is now a student there, through Western Seminary.
