Commuter Life

Living off campus? You’ll still have plenty of opportunities to connect with other students through community gatherings, comfy lounges, and exciting events!

Follow for all the ways you can get involved:

Commuter Areas

There are several of beautiful on-campus areas designated to making commuters still feel at home in the Corban community.

Commuter Solarium

To the right of the main library entrance is a lounge available to all commuters to study, chat, or just relax. It has a nice view of Corban’s nature path and klatch along with various other amenities that commuters may find helpful, like an events calendar, a give and take clothing and shoes rack, and more!

Student Space

On the second floor of Schimmel Hall, room 210 offers a comfortable study space and lounge with desks and computers, couches, lockers, games, and more. This space is often a hub for commuter events and free snacks!

Commuter Lounge & Kitchen

Just below Corban’s on-campus coffee shop is a well-kept area for commuters to relax and find out about upcoming events around campus. There is also a small kitchen provided with fridges and lockers as well as complimentary coffee, tea, and other goodies available to commuting students.

Events

Corban hosts many different events across campus, but there are also events to build community specifically for our commuter students. These events are posted monthly in the Commuter Lounge and Solarium and sent out to each commuter student email.
