Guest Information

Welcome to the Corban University Library! The following information is for anyone who wishes to use the library from outside the current Corban community (i.e., you are not a current faculty member, staff or student). Please take a moment to read the Library’s Code of Conduct.

In addition to 110,000 titles and 575 current periodical subscriptions on location, Corban’s membership in the Oregon Private Academic Library Link (OPALL) provides access to an additional 500,000 titles and 750,000 volumes. The library and its users also have access to over 11,000 full-text journals in electronic format.

The Prewitt/Allen Archaeological Museum, a collection of Middle East artifacts, is also housed in the library building.

Library Access

The Corban Library is open to anyone during regular hours of operation. In order to check out materials, a Community Patron Card must be purchased. The card is $10 and is valid for three years. This gives guests the privileges of checking out most books/CDs/videos. Some restrictions apply such as not having access to the databases off-campus or requests for materials from other libraries.

Please feel free to ask our Reference Desk staff for more information or assistance by calling 503-375-7016 or e-mail
