All events are held in the Psalm Performing Arts Center on Corban’s campus, unless otherwise noted.

Nathan Compton, saxophone

Junior Recital

January 28 – 7:30 p.m.

Mr. Compton presents his junior recital as a saxophone performance major, along with collaborative pianist Brenda Winberg. This recital will include musical compositions by Heiden, Bozza, Handel, and more.

This recital is free and open to the public.

Hymn Festival (20th Annual)

February 27 & 28 – 7:30 p.m.

First Presbyterian Church | 770 Chemeketa St NE, Salem

Corban University’s 20th Annual Hymn Festival centers on God’s grace toward us and our response through songs, scriptures and prayers.

These concerts are free and open to the public. Donations will be received.

Middle School Band & Orchestra Festival

April 9 – All Day

Corban University hosts this festival for regional middle school performing groups. Each group will perform on-stage and then receive feedback from the guest adjudicators.

Spring Concert Series

$5 per person per concert, OR $10 per person for a season pass (gets one person into all four spring concerts). Season passes only available online from March 1 to April 10.

Seniors (62+), college students, and Corban employees free at the door with ID.

Band Concert

April 17 – 7:30 p.m.

The Corban University Concert Band will perform a variety of music from their spring repertoire, featuring a collection of classical and modern repertoire.

Orchestra Concert

April 19 – 4:00 p.m.

The Corban University Chamber Orchestra will perform a variety of music from their spring repertoire, featuring a collection of classical and modern repertoire.

Jazz Night

April 21 – 7:30 p.m.

The Corban Jazz Band performs a lively selection of big band, modern, and jazz combo music.

Choral Concert

April 24 – 7:30 p.m.

The Corban University Concert and Chamber Choirs present sacred and secular works collected from classical, contemporary, and vocal jazz genres.

Senior Recital

April 26 – 4:00 p.m.

Miss Heether presents her final recital as a clarinet performance major, along with collaborative pianist Brenda Winberg. This recital will include musical compositions by Saint-Saëns, Piazzolla, Finzi, and more.

This recital is free and open to the public.

General Student Recitals

February 11 – 12:00 p.m.

March 10 – 12:00 p.m. (PA 200)

April 7, 14 (PA 200), & 21 – 12:00 p.m.

These recitals feature performances by Corban music students, ranging from classical to contemporary works, including some student compositions.

These recitals are free and open to the public.
