Dr. Wilson has been at Corban since 2006. Before that, he had a number of teaching assignments including stints at private prep schools, George Fox, and College of the Ozarks. He has studied and taught at length overseas. He spent time in Italy, having received a Fulbright Grant for a year’s study in Florence, and an NEH grant for study of Francis of Assisi. At Corban, he instructs a range of humanities and literature classes, including History of Western Art and a Shakespeare in Film and Performance class.
Beyond family, faith, and friends (and grading papers!), John spends as much time as he can hiking, skiing, traveling, and playing various racquet sports.
“Above all, what makes Corban special are two things: its mission and its people. Both are unparalleled. There is no workplace at which I’d rather be.”
