With a new look and better visibility, the Jeffers Sports Complex is ready for the next five decades.
A complete renovation of the exterior was completed during fall 2013. The original cedar shake siding was replaced with Hardie Siding Products, weak structural areas were replaced and new signage was added.
Additionally, fir trees lining the west edge of the parking lot were trimmed high to allow views of the valley from the sports center.
Former Corban Board member and architect Neal Kolbo designed the building and it was constructed by alumnus Clarence Jeffers in 1978. The new siding was installed by Highline Construction Inc. and Martin Bros. Inc. created the signage.
The project cost approximately $250,000 to complete and is expected to last 50 years or more.
