Alumnus "Learning the Game" at Jefferson High

The hardest thing for most head coaches when they come into a new athletic program is getting the players to believe they can win.

Nick Plotts, ’02, seems like an unlikely source of that confidence for a volleyball team, but he has accomplished at least that much so far in his second season at Jefferson High School in Jefferson, Ore.

In Plotts’ first season as head coach the team was 4-17 overall and 4-9 in the insanely tough PacWest Conference, but after a strong offseason the Lions seem that they have the potential to compete.
