One of Corban University’s newest faculty members brings years of laboratory research and teaching experience to her students.
Sarah Comstock, Ph.D. joined Corban’s Health Science’s department as an assistant professor of science in July. She previously served as an adjunct faculty member during spring semester 2012. She received her doctorate from Portland State University in June.
Her post-graduate research focused on the effects of maternal obesity on pancreatic development on primates. Comstock worked with Japanese macaques in labs at Oregon Health and Science University and brings a wealth of hands-on experience to her students.
Comstock was raised in Portugal by missionary parents and previously led a mission trip to Brazil to reach street kids in Sao Paulo.
She is teaching advanced physiology and several science labs during the fall semester. She can be reached at firstname.lastname@example.org.
