“Seven Days in Utopia” hits the big screen Friday, Sept. 2

Corban University is well-respected for its high-quality Christian education. On Monday,  nationally renowned sports and business consultant and author of the phenomenal best-selling book “Links of Utopia: Golf’s Greatest Journey,” David L. Cook, Ph.D., spent half a day touring Corban as he prepares for the release of “Seven Days in Utopia” based on his novel.

David Cook is a master storyteller who deeply loves the Lord, his wife, their two teenage daughters, and sharing the transforming power of the Gospel of Jesus Christ with as many people as possible. David also loves golf, fishing, flying and the wide open spaces in Texas.

When Cook brings those passions together with Academy Award winner Robert Duvall, et al., you have “Seven Days in Utopia,” a family friendly movie that has received wide applause from movie screeners nationwide.

The movie features the number one song “Born Again” by Third Day. When approached, band member Mac Powell not only gave an enthusiastic yes, but the band recorded a completely new version specifically for the movie.
