Men's and women's basketball advances to CCC semifinals

It was a big week for Corban basketball when both the Warrior men and women defeated their opponents, advancing to the semifinals of the Cascade Collegiate Conference playoff tournament.

The women will return to the C.E. Jeffer’s Sports Center tomorrow night at 7 p.m. against the Coyotes from the College of Idaho. With Tuesday’s win, Corban improves to 19-10 overall. The Lady Coyotes defeated the Knights at 75-57 at Warner Pacific College on Feb. 23. 

In the opening round of the CCC tournament, Corban's men's basketball team pulled off the upset thanks to a 66-59 win over No. 3-seeded Warner Pacific on Wednesday. The Corban men improved to 18-13 overall. The Warriors will move onto the semifinals where they will face the NAIA's No. 7-ranked and top-seeded Hustlin' Owls of Oregon Tech on Saturday, February 26th, beginning at 7p.m. in Klamath Falls.

Friday’s matchup at Corban is $5 for adults, $2 for senior and students with I.D. and $1 for kids 12 and under.
