A member of Corban’s class of 2007, business graduate Andrew Bertz has received a prestigious award for his academic and workplace achievement.
The Oregon Society of Certified Public Accountants gave Bertz its Top Accounting Student Award for 2007. He was honored on May 16 at the professional organization’s Circle of Excellence Banquet at the Doubletree Hotel and Executive Meeting Center in Portland.
Bertz is an accountant with Doty & Company CPAs in Salem. In addition to being honored at the state level, this magna cum laude was recognized during Corban’s graduation ceremonies as the winner of the college’s Joshua-Barnabas Award, an annual award that goes to the best graduating business student, as nominated by his peers and selected by the faculty.
