The public is invited to Corban University Theatre's presentation of "Anne of Green Gables" by Lucy Maud Montgomery.
Corban University students will bring to life all the delightful inhabitants of Avonlea! This beloved story follows orphan Anne Shirley as she finds her home on Prince Edward Island, under the shelter of Green Gables – a farm owned by brother and sister Matthew and Marilla Cuthbert. As she grows from little girl to young woman, Anne’s irrepressible imagination and loving heart shines light into the lives of her adopted family, friends and neighbors. Along the way Anne finds hilarious mishaps, adventures, and a blooming rivalry with handsome Gilbert Blythe.
Children of all ages are welcome to attend this family-friendly production. Tickets will be available through the Corban bookstore beginning Feb. 3. Performances will be held in the Psalm Performing Arts Center on Corban University's Salem campus, located at 5000 Deer Park Dr. SE. Doors open 30 minutes before the shows begin.
