RESCUE Concert

For more than 14 years, RESCUE has toured the world and captivated many with their music live and on the radio.

On Sept. 27 the public is invited to hear this award-winning acappella quartet at Corban University’s Psalm Performing Arts Center. The free concert begins at 7 p.m. and is appropriate for all ages. A freewill offering will be taken to help support RESCUE's ministry.

RESCUE has released 7 albums, many of which have won top awards for their genre.  Most recently, “Before the Throne,” RESCUE’s sixth album, won Religious Album of the Year 2008 from CARA (Contemporary Acappella Recording Awards).  Additionally, their arrangement of “Unleashed” received runner-up for 2008 Religious Song of the Year.

They have shared the platform for events with President George W. Bush, James Dobson, Frank Peretti and other internationally known speakers.  They have also performed with Avalon, Rebecca St. James, Nichole Nordeman, Sara Groves, and many others.

RESCUE is produced by President Jason Overstreet, who founded the group in 1997 and continues to write and arrange RESCUE music.  Jason and the other vocalists, Brian Sell, Kris Strobeck and Kovy Aguiar have an intense and focused passion for God, who has gifted each of them with unique musical ability.

RESCUE is a non-profit ministry, and desires to share the amazing love of Christ and to encourage all ages in their daily life with Christ through their heartfelt music and testimony

“Before the Throne” and all other RESCUE CD’s are available at RESCUE concerts, on their website at www.rescuemusic.com or by phone at 877-RESCUE4.
