Addressing International Mail
Post Office Recommendations
Type or legibly print your delivery address in all uppercase letters.
If possible, address should have no more than five lines.
Last line of the address must include only the complete country name (no abbreviations).
Line 1: Name of addressee
Line 2: Street Address or Post Office box number
Line 3: City of Town name, Principal subdivision (i.e., Providence, state, county, postal code)(Note: in some countries, the postal code may precede the city or town name)
Line 4: Country name
The following format should always be used for addresses sent to Canada:
