We are on duty 24 hours a day, 7 days a week for you.
Under the guidance of the Director of Campus Safety, the Office of Campus Safety focuses on crime prevention, emergency response, investigations, disseminating safety related information, and actively planning to meet the challenges facing modern institutions of higher education. Campus Safety takes the lead in preserving the peace and protecting faculty, staff, students, guests, and property from crime and other hazards.
Our Campus Safety Officers are certified through the Oregon Department of Public Safety Standards and Training. Our team is made up of exceptional men and women who attend Corban and negotiate a rigorous application, interview, and training process in addition to their studies. These students are dedicated to serving their community and are formally preparing for law enforcement, legal, military, or security-related careers. They are carefully screened and trained to help keep members of Corban and its guests stay safe. Campus safety officers provide a variety of services and are tasked with patrol, observation, reporting, and initial incident response. Additionally, within the parameters of local, state, and federal law and Corban’s policies and regulations, Campus Safety Officers may request identification from people on campus, issue trespass orders, and when imminent safety or security risks exist, may make arrests.
