Veterans
Veterans or dependents of veterans who plan to enroll at Corban University are urged to apply for the benefits through the Veterans Administration well in advance of registration so that the necessary paperwork will be completed. You may receive an application form at the school or apply online through this website: http://www.gibill.va.gov/apply-for-benefits/. A late decision to attend may delay payments.
Veterans and others eligible for educational benefits from the DVA are subject to the standard of satisfactory progress as required by DVA rules and regulations. This policy is outlined in our college catalog for both undergraduate and graduate students.
Benefits recipients are required to notify the Certifying School Official of any course adds/drops, withdrawals or changes of program study.
Corban University complies with the Presidential Executive order: Establishing Principles of Excellence for Educational Institutions Serving Service Members, Veterans, Spouses, and Other Family Members (April 2012).
MILITARY EDUCATION
The university generally grants credit for military education experiences as recommended by the American Council on Education’s Guide to the Educational Experiences in the Armed Services. Students may request evaluation of credits earned through the Community College of the Air Force, Defense Language Institute, or military education. Students must submit official copies of college transcripts or a Certificate of Completion from the Defense Language Institute. An official copy of the student’s DD214, DD295, or an AARTS transcript is required for military education and occupational credits.
