I started working in the Corban Education Department in the fall of 2006. I always wanted to work in a good Christian environment and I was/am glad to find one.
My 2 years of experience at Corban leads me believe that Corban is an academically rigorous school and that it has a dynamic Christian environment surrounded by friendly people.
My husband and I began attending Salem Alliance Church after we moved to Salem last year. Currently, I am a member of the IRA (International Reading Association),and ORA (Oregon Reading Association).
On a personal note, I was born and raised in Seoul, South Korea. After 9 years of teaching in elementary schools, I decided to come to the U.S. to study at a graduate school in 1999.
Jim and I have been married for 4 years and we are waiting for our first child who is going to be adopted from S. Korea this year. I like to travel around, read books, watch Korean drama with my husband (with English subtitle), and eat Thai food.
