  • Sam began teaching at Corban in 2006. "I chose Corban due to its high commitment to Christ-centered higher education.  I was impressed by the vision, mission, and purpose of the school and its desire to educate students who will make a difference in the world for Jesus Christ.  I had an instant bond with my department’s faculty members and soon began cherishing growing relationships with the rest of the faculty, staff, and students thereafter."

Corban is where prospective students will engage a truly distinctive Christian education experience. Our desire to impact students for Christ on campus, in the local community, in area churches, and the world at large is truly unique.

Students who, in particular, choose Student and Family Ministries as their choice of degree will be challenged by the most up-to-date trends and issues taking place in a wide array of current ministry contexts.  They’ll also be well prepared to meet the high demands required of individuals seeking a career in vocational ministry—whether it be with children, teens, families, sports ministries, para-church organizations, or camping ministries. They’ll also establish life-long friendships and have a ton-‘o-fun while doing it!"

  • Has been married to his wife Alyson since 1986. They have two daughters, Courtney and Katie. "We also have a dog named “Cozmo” - I’ll leave it to you to guess his breed…?  In my spare time I enjoy playing as much golf as possible, reading, hangin’ with my girls, spending time with students outside of class, and all kinds of sports and recreation activities," he added.
