Professional: Responsibilities as CEO are to oversee the college in all aspects of its operation, and reports directly to the Board of Trustees. Directs the president’s cabinet made up the provost and five vice presidents. Sets the vision for the organization and seeks support and donors for its future goals.

Background: Worked as a banker, certified financial planner (CFP), accredited tax advisor and served in the U.S. Army. Came to Corban in 1969 where he established the business management program and was chair of the department for 11 years. In all, he has served as business manager, professor/chair of the business department, vice president for administration, provost, executive vice president before becoming president in 1999.

Personal: Wife, Linda, one son and three grandchildren. Attends Faith Baptist Church of Lincoln City, Ore. Enjoys fishing, golf, and reading.
