I am currently the counselor at Jefferson Baptist Church. I have a passion to help couples and individuals work through issues by applying God's principles to their lives and in their relationships. It is exciting to see the work that He does.
Along with counseling, I began serving as an adjunct professor for Corban in 2009. I joined Corban’s full-time faculty in July 2012. I have taught Lifespan Development, Crisis Counseling, Practicum, and Addiction Counseling. Prior to moving to Oregon in 2004, I worked as associate director of Valley Community Clinic in North Hollywood, Calif., as a clinician in the "Mother and Infant Program" at The Maple Clinic in Los Angeles, and as a psychotherapist in private practice in Westwood, Calif.
I am a city girl who reluctantly moved to the country in 2004. Looking back, I see God's hand in the move and everything that has happened as a result of the move. I am grateful to be here. I have been married to Mike for 20 years and have two beautiful daughters, Natalie and Anabel. Some of my hobbies are gardening, cooking, flea markets, music and enjoying the outdoors. I am very excited to be a part of training students to be lights in the counseling profession.
