Artist Statement

To paint is to display the way you see the world. As an artist I try to bring forward new ideas and to project a philosophy of life by playing within the context of everyday objects.

Whether through visual humor, hidden layers or reconsidering historical narratives, I enjoy weaving a mosaic of structures into each piece. This exhibition is a journey into that conversation…

I want to use all of the tools at my disposal to investigate the majesty and wonder of our existence and to continually be amazed at our bizarre, inexplicably beautiful world.

I hope you can appreciate the themes that run throughout this collection; the Why does that belong there? and the What Ifs and the questions that poke at your brain as you walk away…

And I hope these questions cause you to laugh, to ponder, to think critically and to live honestly.
