January —Katherine Hormann

Katherine Hormann and "Once Upon a Time"
The January 2012 show in the Psalm Gallery consists of 20 selected photos from Corban student Katharine Hormann on her adventurous journeys capturing the unique doors of Europe.
Hormann is a junior, studying Psychology and English. She has always loved the craftsmanship that can be seen in a door. When she was in high school she had the amazing opportunity to go on a 10-day trip to Europe. While amazed with everything around her, one particular door caught her attention. She named it "Once Upon a Time" and it sparked a desire for her to return and take as many pictures of doors as she possibly could.
“I had no idea if I would ever really be able to return, but in the Fall of 2010 I was blessed enough to go to Germany with Corban's AMBEX program. There I took over 300 pictures of doors” Hormann said.
