Christmas concerts feature ‘Messiah’
and carol sing-along

 

Selections from Handel’s “Messiah,” a Christmas carol sing-along, and classical and traditional holiday favorites are headlining at a concert performed by Corban College’s choirs, band and string ensemble on Dec. 1 and 2.

The free concert, titled King of Kings, will be held in the Psalm Performing Arts Center on campus. Tickets are not required, although donations will be accepted. The concert on Friday, Dec. 1 is at 7:30 p.m. The Saturday, Dec. 2 concerts are at 3 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. The doors will open 30 minutes before each performance.

The college will also present a free lunchtime concert in the Oregon State Capitol rotunda at noon on Monday, Dec. 4. Audience members are encouraged to bring their lunches and eat while enjoying the music.
