Corban Summer Camp Teams Serving |
Doug West, the Camp Team’s coordinator, says all team members completed their training prior to graduation and once again the College has a select group of the best Corban has to offer. “Students making up our Camp Teams represent various academic departments from education to business to psychology,” Doug says, “but they all possess an active and growing walk with Christ. This will allow them to be great role models in the lives of hundreds of children and youth this summer.” Tanalian is unique in that they offer ministry to campers from the inland Alaskan villages. Every camper, staff member, and all the food and supplies are flown in to this remote roadless region on Lake Clark. The College’s students and staff have been serving at this small camp since 1998, helping to meet the unique needs of Alaskan village youth. Team members will be also located at two new camps this year; Camp Tapawingo and Shiloh Bible Camp of Cosmopolis, Washington. All teams will return to the campus on August 6.
